Description
Description: The DB-1 monoclonal antibody reacts with rat interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma), a 15-20 kDa cytokine secreted by Th1 cells. For optimal detection of rat IFN-gamma by sandwich ELISA, a combination of purified DB-1 for capture and biotinylated polyclonal anti-rat IFN-gamma for detection is recommended. DB-1 is used for capture of rat IFN-gamma by ELISA. Applications Reported: DB-1 has been reported for use in capture of rat IFN gamma by ELISA. Applications Tested: The DB-1 (DB1) antibody has been tested as the capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of rat IFNg (Interferon-gamma, IFN-g) in combination with the biotin anti-rat IFNg poly (13-7320) antibody for detection and recombinant rat IFNg (14-8315) as the standard. A suitable range of concentrations of this antibody for ELISA capture is 1-4 μg/mL. A standard curve consisting of doubling dilutions of the recombinant standard over the range of 2000 pg/mL - 15 pg/mL should be included in each ELISA plate. Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
