Description

Rat Monoclonal Antibody

The AN-18 antibody reacts with mouse interferon-gamma (IFN gamma), a 15-20 kDa cytokine secreted by Th1 cells. Applications Reported: The AN-18 antibody has been reported for use in ELISA and ELISPOT assay. For neutralization of IFN gamma activity, the alternate clones R4-6A2 or XMG1.2 are recommended. Applications Tested: The AN-18 antibody has been tested as the capture antibody in IFN gamma ELISPOT assay, in combination with the biotinylated R4-6A2 antibody for detection. A concentration of 1-4 μg/mL is recommended. For neutralization of IFN gamma activity, the alternate clones R4-6A2 or XMG1.2 are recommended. Storage and handling: Use in a sterile environment. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered. Purity: Greater than 90%, as determined by SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin Level: Less than 0.001 ng/ μg antibody, as determined by LAL assay. Aggregation: Less than 10%, as determined by HPLC.
