This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-52069 (PA5-52069. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Involved in histone 3'-end pre-mRNA processing by associating with U7 snRNP and interacting with SLBP/pre-mRNA complex. Increases histone 3'-end pre-mRNA processing but has no effect on U7 snRNP levels, when overexpressed. Required for cell cycle progression from G1 to S phases.
