Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (89%), Rat (89%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-65023 (PA5-65023. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs) are capable of producing a free ubiquitin moiety from ubiquitin-fused precursors and ubiquitinylated proteins in cells. DUBs possess conserved catalytic regions known as the 'cys domain' and the 'his domain.' There are 2 distinct families of DUBs: ubiquitin-specific processing proteases (UBPs, or USPs) and ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolases (UCHs).
