This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62618 (PA5-62618. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

USHBP1, also named as Mutated in colon cancer protein 2 or AIE-75-binding protein, is a 703 amino acid protein, which belongs to the MCC family. Highest level of expression is in heart, and moderate to low expression in skeletal muscle, kidney, liver, small intestine, placenta and lung.
