Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (78%), Rat (78%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-61508 (PA5-61508. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The tyrosylprotein sulfotransferases TPST-1 and TPST-2 catalyze the sulfation of tyrosine residues within secreted and membrane-bound proteins, such as cell adhesion molecules, G-protein-coupled receptors, coagulation factors, serpins, extracellular matrix proteins, and hormones. Although both TPST-1 and TPST-2 utilize 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate as their sulfate donor, they differ in their substrate specificity.
