This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-140356 (PA5-140356. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Chromosome 9 is partnered with chromosome 22 in the translocation leading to the aberrant production of BCR-ABL fusion protein often found in leukemias. The C9orf71 gene product has been provisionally designated C9orf71 pending further characterization.
