Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (61%), Rat (61%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-66895 (PA5-66895. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
THAP3 (THAP domain-containing protein 3) is a 239 amino acid protein that contains one THAP-type zinc finger and exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms. The gene that encodes THAP3 contains roughly 10,721 bases and maps to human chromosome 1p36.31. Spanning about 260 million base pairs and comprising nearly 8% of the human genome, chromosome 1 is the largest human chromosome.
