Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (48%), Rat (48%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-56971 (PA5-56971. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

TGIF2LX is a member of the TALE/TGIF homeobox family of transcription factors. Testis-specific expression suggests that this gene may play a role in spermatogenesis. A homolog of this gene lies within the male specific region of chromosome Y, in a block of sequence that is thought to be the result of a large X-to-Y transposition.
