Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (91%), Rat (91%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-56275 (PA5-56275. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Tenascin-R (TNR) is an extracellular matix protein expressed primarily in the central nervous system. It is a member of the tenascin (TN) gene family, which includes at least 3 genes in mammals: TNC (or hexabrachion; MIM 187380), TNX (TNXB; MIM 600985), and TNR (Erickson, 1993). The genes are expressed in distinct tissues at different times during embryonic development and are present in adult tissues.
