This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58475 (PA5-58475. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

TCHP may act as a 'capping' or 'branching' protein for keratin filaments in the cell periphery. This protein may regulate K8/K18 filament and desmosome organization mainly at the apical or peripheral regions of simple epithelial cells.
