This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58582 (PA5-58582. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

SC24A is a component of coat protein II (COPII; see MIM 601924)-coated vesicles that mediate protein transport from the endoplasmic reticulum. SEC24A is 1 of several mammalian proteins that show structural and functional homology to yeast Sec24.
