Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (49%), Rat (49%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58779 (PA5-58779. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
RNMT belongs to the mRNA cap methyltransferase family. RNMT is a mRNA-capping methyltransferase that methylates the N7 position of the added guanosine to the 5'-cap structure of mRNAs. It binds RNA containing 5'-terminal GpppC.
