Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (98%), Rat (98%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59381 (PA5-59381. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
RMI2 is a protein coding gene, essential component of the RMI complex, a complex that plays an important role in the processing of homologous recombination intermediates. It is required to regulate sister chromatid segregation and to limit DNA crossover. Essential for the stability, localization, and function of BLM, TOP3A, and complexes containing BLM. In the RMI complex, it is required to target BLM to chromatin and stress-induced nuclear foci and mitotic phosphorylation of BLM.
