Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (92%), Rat (92%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-82757 (PA5-82757. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
RGS10 inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPASE activity of G protein alpha subunits thereby driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form. It associates specifically with the activated forms of the G protein subunits G(I)-ALPHA and G(Z)- alpha but fails to interact with the structurally and functionally distinct G(S)-alpha subunit. Activity on G(Z)-alpha is inhibited by palmitoylation of the G-protein.
