Invitrogen™ Human PYCRL Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (73%), Rat (73%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
PYCRL encodes a protein that belongs to the pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase family of enzymes. Members of this family catalyze the final step in proline biosynthesis, converting pyrroline-5-carboxylate to proline. Glutamate and ornithine are precursors in the synthesis of proline. The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of proline from ornithine.
