Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (87%), Rat (87%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-65221 (PA5-65221. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

The protein encoded by this gene contains several WD-40 repeats and is found mostly in the nucleus. The expression and localization of this protein are cell cycle dependent. Expression of this gene is upregulated in pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
