Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (71%), Rat (71%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57558 (PA5-57558. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

PLCH1 is a member of the PLC-eta family of the phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C (PLC) superfamily of enzymes that cleave phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(4,5)P2) to generate second messengers inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) and diacylglycerol (DAG).
