Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (96%), Rat (96%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-67010 (PA5-67010. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
PIM3 serine/threonine kinase or PIM-3 oncogene belongs to a family of protooncogenes. PIM3 is expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma development and plays a main role in the proliferation of human hepatoma cell lines. PIM3 also expressed in human pancreatic cancer cells and phosphorylates BAD to block Bad-mediated apoptosis in human pancreatic cancer cell lines. PIM3 is widely expressed, with the exception of no expression observed in colon, thymus, and small intestine.
