This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-64012 (PA5-64012. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Pellino 1 is the mammalian homologue of Pellino, a Drosophila Pelle-interacting protein. Pelle is a serine-threonine kinase through which Toll signaling can occur. Pellino 1 can activate c-Jun, Elk-1 and NF-kB, whereas Pellino 3 can only activate c-Jun and Elk-1(2).
