Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (29%), Rat (29%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-56162 (PA5-56162. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Human placental protein 14 (PP14; also known as glycodelin and progesterone-associated endometrial protein) is a protein of the lipocalin structural superfamily. PP14 is the most abundant product of the secretory endometrium, and has been proposed as a biochemical marker of endometrial function in women undergoing in vitro fertilization treatment.
