Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (35%), Rat (35%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-139979 (PA5-139979. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

ODF4 is the component of the outer dense fibers (ODF) of spermatozoa which could be involved in sperm tail structure, sperm movement and general organization of cellular cytoskeleton.This gene encodes a protein that is localized in the outer dense fibers of the tails of mature sperm. This protein is thought to have some important role in the sperm tail. Sequence Note: The RefSeq record was created from transcript and genomic sequence data to make the sequence consistent with the reference genome assembly.
