Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (51%), Rat (51%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-56866 (PA5-56866. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

The protein encoded by this gene is a type I membrane receptor that activates cytokine gene promoters such as the IL-13 and TNF-alpha promoters. The encoded protein contains an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) and is thought to regulate the signaling and development of B-cells. It is also known CNAIP.
