Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (73%), Rat (73%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84423 (PA5-84423. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The protein encoded by this gene is a component of 42 kDa complex I, the first enzyme complex in the electron transport chain of mitochondria. This protein has NADH dehydrogenase activity and oxidoreductase activity. It transfers electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. A mutation in this gene was found in an individual with Leigh syndrome.
