Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (94%), Rat (94%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-83159 (PA5-83159. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
IRF2 belongs to the interferon regulatory factor family. IRF2 regulates the transcription regulation important to cell proliferation as well as immune responses by binding to the upstream regulatory region of type I IFN and IFNinducible MHC class I genes (the interferon consensus sequence (ICS)) and repression of those genes. However, IRF2 also functions as a transcriptional activator of histone H4 by interactions with NF-kappa B.
