Invitrogen™ Human IFN-gamma (ELISA Standard) Recombinant Protein
Description
Description: Human IFN gamma is an ~20 kDa factor produced by activated T, B and NK cells and is an anti-viral and anti-parasitic cytokine. IFN gamma in synergy with other cytokines, such as TNF alpha, inhibits proliferation of normal and transformed cells. Immunomodulatory effects of IFN gamma are exerted on a wide range of cell types expressing the high affinity receptors for IFN-gamma. Glycosylation of IFN gamma does not affect its biological activity. Applications Reported: Recombinant Human IFN gamma ELISA Standard, Lyoph has been reported for use iin the Human IFN gamma ELISA Ready Set Go! (Product # 88-7316). Applications Tested: The intended use of the Human IFN gamma RSG ELISA Lyophilized Standard is as a standard for Human IFN gamma ELISA Ready-SET-Go!® (Product # 88-7316-88). Typically the standard is run in a series of 7 doubling dilutions from the 'top' standard. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis included with each ELISA set for instructions on the proper reconstitution and dilution of the lyophilized standard. Note: These are single-use vials. Use one time within 4 hours of reconstitution and discard. Reconstitute and dilute as suggested in the Certificate of Analysis or recovery may not be accurate. Source: E. coli expressed amino acids Gln24-Gln166 of mature human IFN gamma accession # NM_000619.
