Invitrogen™ Human HTR7 (aa 388-461) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (61%), Rat (61%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
5-HT7 Receptor is a Serotonin Receptor with several functions, including regulation of the circadian rhythm and mediation of smooth-muscle relaxation in the vasculature and GI tract. This receptor has been implicated in depression, autism, and other neuropsychiatric disorders. Three protein isoforms have been documented: isoform a: 445aa; isoform b: 432aa; isoform d: 479aa. 5-HT7 Receptor has been reported in aorta, brain, heart, placenta, small intestine, spleen, artery, and vessel. An EST has been isolated from a testis library.
