Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (63%), Rat (63%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58138 (PA5-58138. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
This gene encodes a HORMA domain-containing protein. HORMA domains are involved in chromatin binding and play a role in cell cycle regulation. The encoded protein may play a role in meiosis, and expression of this gene is a potential marker for cancer. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 6. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
