Invitrogen™ Human HIPK3 (aa 551-636) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (85%), Rat (85%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-83000 (PA5-83000. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
HIPK3 is a serine/threonine kinase involved in signal transduction, cellular communication, and multidrug resistance of tumors and plays a role in the phosphorylation of FADD. HIPK3 negatively regulates apoptosis by promoting FADD phosphorylation. This kinase enhances androgen receptor-mediated transcription, and may act as a transcriptional corepressor for NK homeodomain transcription factors.
