Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (34%), Rat (34%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63280 (PA5-63280. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Atypical histone H2B. Nucleosomes containing it are structurally and dynamically indistinguishable from those containing conventional H2B. However, unlike conventional H2B, does not recruit chromosome condensation factors and does not participate in the assembly of mitotic chromosomes. May be important for telomere function.
