This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-82646 (PA5-82646. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

GRK6 is a member of the guanine nucleotide-binding protein coupled receptor kinase subfamily of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. GRK6 phosphorylates the activated forms of G protein-coupled receptors to initiate their deactivation. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for GRK6.
