Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (77%), Rat (77%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-55230 (PA5-55230. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Gamma-Glutamyl hydrolase (GGH) is a homodimeric protein that catalyzes the cleavage of the gamma-glutamyl chain of folylpoly-gamma-glutamyl substrates and is a central enzyme in folyl and antifolyl poly-gamma-glutamate metabolism. The activities of the baculovirus-expressed enzyme and the enzyme from HL-60 cells were similar on methotrexate polyglutamates. GGH is expressed in a variety of human tumors and correlates with poor prognosis.
