Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (89%), Rat (89%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57284 (PA5-57284. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
This gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the epimerization of hexose sugars such as glucose and galactose. The encoded protein is expressed in the cytoplasm and has a preference for galactose. The encoded protein may be required for normal galactose metabolism by maintaining the equilibrium of alpha and beta anomers of galactose.
