Invitrogen™ Human FUCA1 (aa 377-461) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (67%), Rat (67%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-61246 (PA5-61246. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Alpha-L-fucosidase (EC 3.2.1.51) is a lysosomal enzyme involved in the degradation of fucose-containing glycoproteins and glycolipids (Occhiodoro et al., 1989 [PubMed 2803312]). At least 2 separate polymorphic alpha-L-fucosidases are recognized in man: that in tissues, FUCA1, which is deficient in fucosidosis (MIM 230000), and that in plasma, FUCA2 (MIM 136820).[supplied by OMIM].
