Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (97%), Rat (97%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-82261 (PA5-82261. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
FEN-1 (Flap Endonuclease and Five prime Exonuclease) is a 42 a protein that functions as an endonuclease that cleaves branched DNA structures containing single-stranded 5' flaps or as an exonuclease on DNA nicks and gaps. FEN-1 endonuclease and exonuclease activities are stimulated by an association with proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in the nucleus. FEN-1 is believed to have important roles in DNA replication and repair and is required in cell-free DNA replication systems.
