Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (90%), Rat (90%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-110629 (PA5-110629. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Mediates thiol-dependent retention in the early secretory pathway, forming mixed disulfides with substrate proteins through its conserved CRFS motif. Inhibits the calcium channel activity of ITPR1. May have a role in the control of oxidative protein folding in the endoplasmic reticulum. Required to retain ERO1L and ERO1LB in the endoplasmic reticulum.
