Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • EphB4 is a member of the Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family and binds Ephrin-B2.
  • Activation of kinase activity occurs after membranebound or clustered ligand recognition and binding.
  • EphB4 is expressed preferentially on venous endothelial cells (EC) and inhibits cell-cell adhesion, chemotaxis, and angiogenesis.
  • It plays an essential role in vascular development.
