Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (98%), Rat (98%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84437 (PA5-84437. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Ecm 29 appears to be one of three proteins which associate significantly with proteasomes. Ecm 29 has been shown to enhance the stability of the proteasome. Ecm 29 deletion has been shown to produce 26S proteasomes which dissociated in the absence of ATP. It was thus suggested that Ecm 29 tethers the regulatory complex to the proteasome.
