Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (76%), Rat (76%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-83288 (PA5-83288. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
DIS3L2 encodes a protein that is similar in sequence to 3'/5' exonucleolytic subunits of the RNA exosome. The exosome is a large multimeric ribonucleotide complex responsible for degrading various RNA substrates. Several transcript variants, some protein-coding and some not, have been found for this gene.
