Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (93%), Rat (93%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57260 (PA5-57260. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX18 belongs to theDEAD box helicase family, which contains one helicase ATP-binding domain and one helicase C-terminal domain. DDX18 is induced by Myc and Max and is involved in splicing and nuclear export. It is reported to be differentially expressed during viral latency and at early times after induction into active replication.
