Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (89%), Rat (89%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-52511 (PA5-52511. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
CRLR is a receptor for calcitonin gene-related peptide type 1. The activity of CRLR is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. CRLR expression has been reported in brain, lung, blood vessel, liver, and intestinal tract. ESTs have been isolated from B-cell/lung/testis, bome marrow, embryo, lung and synovium libraries.
