Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (86%), Rat (86%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63109 (PA5-63109. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

ATP6V0D2 is the subunit of the integral membrane V0 complex of vacuolar ATPase. Vacuolar ATPase is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular compartments in eukaryotic cells, thus providing most of the energy required for transport processes in the vacuolar system. ATP6V0D2 may play a role in coupling of proton transport and ATP hydrolysis.
