Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (27%), Rat (27%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-52087 (PA5-52087. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the sulfatase family. Sulfatases are essential for the correct composition of bone and cartilage matrix. This encoded protein is postranslationally glycosylated and localized to the lysosome. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
