Invitrogen™ Human ARHGEF9 (aa 464-516) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (98%), Rat (98%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-111413 (PA5-111413. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The protein encoded by this gene is a Rho-like GTPase that switches between the active state and inactive state to regulate CDC42 and other genes. Defects in this gene are a cause of startle disease with epilepsy, also known as hyperekplexia with epilepsy. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
