Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (90%), Rat (90%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57436 (PA5-57436. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

AP1AR is necessary for AP-1 dependent transport between the trans-Golgi network and endosomes. It regulates the membrane association of AP1G1/Gamma1-adaptin, one of the subunits of the AP-1 adapter complex. The direct interaction with AP1G1/Gamma1-adaptin attenuates the release of the AP-1 complex from membranes.
