Description

These models are for use in quality control, heat treatment and research of ceramic materials

These models are for use in quality control, heat treatment and research of ceramic materials. Applications include testing cement, sintering metallic/ceramic components and manufacturing high specification technical ceramics. The are heated by side-mounted, free-radiating, SiC or MoSiO2 elements which ensure rapid heat up, while providing excellent thermal uniformity within the chamber volume, a key requirement in these applications. They use the highest specification insulation chamber linings capable of withstanding the high temperature cycles While ensuring compliance to BSEN 61010 safe outer surface temperature.
  • Precise push button temperature setting, with single ramp and timer (301) or option of 8 (3216P1) or 20 (3508P1) step programmer. 8 step programmer fitted as standard to 1, 700°C and 1, 800°C models
  • Safety features include vertical parallel lift door design, which partially protects user from heat radiation, positive break door-open switch and double skinned body for safe outer surface temperature
  • Independent over temperature protection controller standard on 1, 700°C and 1, 800°C models
