Description

Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human HepG2 whole cell, human HEL whole cell, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue. IHC: human gall bladder adenosquamous carcinoma tissue, human appendiceal adenocarcinoma tissue, human liver cancer tissue, human placenta tissue. ICC/IF: SiHa cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Glutaminase is a phosphate-activated amidohydrolase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of glutamine to glutamate and ammonia. It is primarily expressed in the brain and kidney and plays an essential role in generating energy for metabolism, synthesizing neurotransmitter glutamate, and maintaing acid-based balance in the kidney. There are alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants in the Glutaminase gene.
