Description

Empty Spin columns for rapid protein purification with Strep-Tactin™XT 4Flow™ high capacity.

  • Empty Spin Columns are ideal for rapid protein purification from small sample volumes.
  • They are provided with inserted frits (mesh size 10 μm), screw caps, and snap-off plugs and compatible with conventional 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL reaction tubes.
  • The frit in the lower part of the column ensure that the resin remain in the spin column while sample or buffer flow through rapidly during the centrifugation process.
  • The maximum filling volume is 700 μL.
  • The empty spin columns are offered without resin and purification buffer to facilitate a customer-specific application and experimental design, e.g., if specific buffer conditions are required.
  • For purification of Strep-tag™II or Twin-Strep-tag™ fusion proteins, the combination with Strep-Tactin™XT 4Flow™ high capacity resin is recommended.
