3M™ Emphaze™ AEX Series Hybrid Purifier EMP303AEX020A is an all-synthetic, multi-mechanism clarifying product that contains a Q-functional anion exchange media and a fine particle, bioburden reduction membrane.

  • All-synthetic, highly functionalized media (contains no naturally-derived materials)
  • Asymmetric membrane terminating with 0.2 μm bioburden reduction zone
  • Excellent mAb recovery often equal to or greater than 95%
  • Substantial turbidity, DNA, HCP and bioburden reduction
  • Reduced surface area requirement of the downstream sterilizing grade membrane
  • May offer differentiated protection of the protein A column for enhanced contaminant clearance performance
  • All product components comply with United States Pharmacopeia (USP) <88> Class VI 70°C Biological Reactivity Tests, in vivo
