The new Sharpsguard™ eco cyto containers, made using at least 40% recycled plastic that is used for the disposal of sharps that have been contaminated with cytotoxic or cytostatic medicines.

  • Sharpsguard™ eco cyto 1 is ideal for cytotoxic and cytostatic waste. Its push-down, one-piece lid incorporates a vacutainer remover, and will fit securely into our POUDS™ tray range and other carrying trays.
  • This container is already supplied with the lid assembled an contains an absorbent pad. Details about how to lock the container and keep the users and contents safe can be found on the label.
  • This container is for disposal by incineration or other authorized process and is designed for the consignment of waste categorized by EWC codes: 18-01-01, 18-01-03, 18-01-08, 18-01-09, 18-02-01, 18-02-02, 18-02-07, 18-02-08.
